Are the effects permanent?
Treatments for pigment and vascular lesions are usually permanent. Facial
treatments for lines and wrinkles may need maintenance treatments once or
twice a year.

How many treatments will it take?
For optimal results facial rejuvenation requires 4 - 6 treatments at
3 - 4 week intervals. Maintenance treatments are usually recommended.

Each treatment lasts about 15 - 30 minutes.

Is Laser Facial Rejuvenation painful?
Most patients feel little or no discomfort during treatment. Anesthesia
i not usually required. The sensation has been compared to a hot toothpick,
or the snap of a rubber band.

How long is downtime after treatment?
There is no actual downtime after laser or pulse light facial rejuvenation.
Minimal redness may be noted, but usually resolves within a few minutes.
If sun spots or uneven pigmentation is treated, the patient may notice
temporary darkening of the area, but this will fade within a few days
to a week. If bothersome, cosmetics may be used to cover the area.

How much does it cost?
Facial Rejuvenation by laser or light therapy is a cosmetic procedure
and therefore is not covered by medical insurance. The cost is $500.00
per treatment. The number of treatments will depend on the condition of
your skin and the amount of lines and wrinkles present. Four to six treatments
are usually recommended.
